I went on the Rural Development Exchange that was put on by Augustana University College and Canada World Youth. On this exchange I was given the opportunity to live and work in Mexico. I lived with a family in a rural village called San Andres de la Cal. I love my Mexican friends and now many of my other friends that I know from around the world. They are what inspries me. I guess, leadership can never be planted. It germinates. Kind of self-revelation I believe. To be honest to oneself is far important; Courage to belong to your conscience is necessary often. Because that's the best way to live by example. When one can put reasons by his actions, acceptability increases.

Youth involvement in community development and social change. I became aware of it at an early stage in life and what currently impresses me the most is the Ministry of Youth Affairs incorporating the ideas of a 13 year old Kenyan, Trevor Langat kibet in the budget speech. This shows that youth ideas are no longer being shunned and that our leaders are moving in the right direction in appreciating what youngsters have to offer. ( leggi altro)
